About the Captain

Capt. Cord is a native of Wrightsville Beach with over 25 years of fishing and navigation experience ranging from local creeks to past the Gulf Stream. A USCG licensed captain certified in first aid and CPR, he specializes in finding quality fish as quickly as possible and provides an enjoyable experience for both novice and seasoned anglers. Children are a welcome part of the crew. It’s always fun when the little guys land the big one! Captain Cord is a full time charter captain who fishes king mackerel tournaments and inshore charity events, such as the Cape Fear River Watch Striped Bass tournament where he is on the guide counsel.
